Raised on a farm in the Pacific Northwest, Ben Conry was a very bright but learning disabled kid. He excelled in music and later studied music education and composition at the Oberlin College Conservatory. There here he met his wife and life long best friend. He taught in music in Chicago before moving with his wife to Baltimore.
Ben earned several computer certifications and worked as a corporate trainer and consultant while teaching music in the public schools. He earned a Masters degree from the Johns Hopkins University in instructional technology. He and his wife have two children. Ben Conry is now an award winning teacher of a well respected Computer Repair and Networking Magnet Program.
Ben is a volunteer firefighter, amateur inventor, and takes teams of students to robot and other tech competitions through out the mid-Atlantic region. He judges science and technical competitions, trains teachers and presents at computer industry and educational conferences. Ben has written for Dell Inc. and Cisco Press. He has created curricula for school systems and summer camps.
